MISSOULA – Women from Montana, Idaho and Utah are in Missoula fighting to win the Northern Rockies Classic hockey tournament which is being held at Glacier Ice Rink.
Youth Hockey Director Grace Hoene says the competition is growing increasingly popular. “Its grown to the level where we can have an A and B division which is really cool,” said Hoene.
The Missoula Bruins have two teams participating with 12 others from in and out of state.
The tournament — which concludes on Sunday afternoon — will help teams meet the minimum number of games needed to qualify for nationals.
