MISSOULA – School is out and temps are soaring, which makes perfect timing for Missoula’s favorite outdoor waterpark to open.
Splash Montana will open for the summer for its 14th season on Friday, June 13 at 11:30 a.m.
Three water slides, a lazy river, a children’s water playground, the Crazy Creek Café and Fireline Grill make Splash Montana an all-day destination for families.
And don’t forget the 50-meter pool has eight competition lap lanes and features competitive swimming, lap swim, swim lessons, inner-tube water polo and more.
Both Splash Montana and Currents Aquatics Center are fully ADA-compliant, have a wheelchair lift, and water wheelchair.
Splash Montana offers group rates during regular hours, and the facility is available for after-hours rentals.
Splash Montana also offers Learn-to -Swim classes for ages 6 months to 14 years, beginning June 17.
Currents Aquatics Center in McCormick Park will continue to offer swim lessons for infants, toddlers, youth and adults and adult fitness classes (with evening and weekend options), plus recreational swim and lap swim.
Coached lap swim begins June 17 for adult and high school swimmers.
Admission at Splash Montana is $4.00 for youth ages 2 to 6, $5.00 for youth ages 7 to 11, $5.50 for ages 12 to 17 and seniors ages 60+ and $7.25 for adults.
City residents may purchase a Resident Discount Card to qualify for a 20 percent discount on admission. Annual and seasonal passes and punch cards offer additional savings between 25 and 55 percent.

Missoula Parks and Recreation offers a Water Safety Instructor course beginning June 17, and is hiring lifeguards and swim instructors at both pools. Currents Aquatics
Recreational open swim at Splash is 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends through August 27.
