MISSOULA – Authorities have released the name of the man who died in a Friday evening accident west of Missoula.
Missoula County Sheriff TJ McDermott says that Mark D. Roberts, 40, of Missoula, died in the single-vehicle crash that happened on Mullan Road.
Authorities say Roberts drifted across the road, went into a ditch, hit a tree and then a storage building. The vehicle also crashed into a parked trailer and a Ford Ranger pickup truck.
Law enforcement told MTN News that the victim was not wearing his seatbelt and add that drugs and alcohol are suspected to have played a role in the accident.
The Montana Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
