MISSOULA — Authorities say a vehicle that crashed into a Missoula home Wednesday morning was involved in a law enforcement pursuit tied to a federal investigation.

Just after 10 a.m., members of the FBI Montana Regional Violent Crime Task Force were conducting an operation outside Missoula city limits when a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle associated with the investigation.

The driver failed to stop, leading to a pursuit into the city.

Officers with the Missoula Police Department, Missoula County Sheriff’s Office, Montana Highway Patrol and federal task force members were involved.

The pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed into a home near England Boulevard and Lexington Avenue.

Authorities say all occupants were detained at the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Officials say the operation is part of an ongoing investigation into suspected narcotics distribution and firearm-related offenses.

The Missoula Police Department's crash investigation team is investigating the crash.

Authorities say there is no threat to the public at this time.

The investigation remains active, and no additional information has been released.
