MISSOULA — The University of Montana has partnered with the Missoula Chamber of Commerce to create the Heart of a Grizzly program which is aimed at helping local Missoulian's keep their money in the Garden City.
Both organizations hope the campaign sparks business for local organizations, especially during this holiday season.
Missoula Chamber of Commerce Chairman Steve Clawson and Monte were on hand Friday -- as well as President Seth Bodnar, who talked about the importance of the partnership between the university and local businesses, especially during the pandemic.
“We believe it’s incredibly important to support our businesses here in Missoula,” Bodnar said. “It’s a challenging time through this pandemic and this campaign is really going to help emphasize the importance of supporting local businesses and the idea that we will get through this together.”
