MISSOULA — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will pause the work taking place on the Higgins Avenue Bridge construction next week.
The work will take a break on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27. MDT will start the work back up on Monday, Nov. 30.
“The Thanksgiving season is a time to express gratitude” MDT Missoula District Administrator, Bob Vosen, said. “We want to thank the Missoula community for being patient through another busy construction season.”
“We hope this pause in the Higgins construction process will allow everyone, including our crews, to get to Thanksgiving dinner safely and without delay,” Vosen added.
The public is encouraged to sign up for updates and ask any questions via the project hotline at (406) 207-4484. The hotline is active weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
