Meadow Hill modulars

MISSOULA — They've already seen service in the coal fields of Montana, and as a place of learning for local students.

Now, Missoula County Public Schools hopes someone is interested in finding a third use for a group of modular classrooms.

The modulars have been a key piece of learning for the past several years at Meadow Hill Middle School on Missoula's south side.

But with the Smart Schools 2020 project, Meadow Hill is getting new class space and that means the district won't be using the modulars after this school year.

MCPS trustees are putting the modulars up for sale. Buyers will get units that could be put to a variety of uses, including temporary office or construction space.

The modulars will be sold at a public auction next year. The buyers will be responsible for moving them off the Meadow Hill campus at the end of the school year.

If you're interested in the units, you should contact Missoula County Public Schools.
