MISSOULA — People will have to wait a little bit longer to hit the ice in Missoula.
Glacier Ice Rink has experienced some mechanical issues which are delaying this weekend's planned opening.
Executive Director Laura Henning says while the new Zamboni was ready for the season, the ice plant has experienced a mechanical issue.
Henning says they are " diligently working to correct the problem, but we are looking at a minimum two-week delay for our opening."
Activities will be rescheduled and Henning says in a news release that registrations will be credited if necessary.
