Deputies investigate possible Frenchtown home burglary

A male suspect has been taken into custody Monday evening, after he broke into a Frenchtown residence.

Missoula County Sheriff deputies arrested the man without incident.

The suspect is expected to appear in court sometime Tuesday.

Missoula County Sheriff’s Office deputies were on the scene of a possible home burglary Monday afternoon across from the former Smurfit Stone mill in Frenchtown.

Sheriff's Office officials tell MTN News that a homeowner saw a window broken and a strange vehicle parked outside his home. The homeowner then contacted law enforcement.

Sheriff's deputies responded along with a canine unit to check out the home to see if anyone was inside and the perimeter of the property. Deputies were still on the scene as of 4 p.m.
