MISSOULA — The Heart Expo at Providence St. Patrick Hospital scheduled for this Saturday in Missoula has been postponed.
Providence spokeswoman JoAnn Hoven says it was decided to postpone the annual event out of an abundance of caution to the community, patients and caregivers surrounding the transmission of coronavirus.
"We understand the importance of this long-standing health care event and will reschedule at a later date," Hoven said in a statement.
The International Heart Institute of Montana cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, imaging specialists, nurses and researchers provide demonstrations, education and information in a series of lectures on the latest advances in treating heart disease during the annual event.
