MISSOULA — A Missoula elementary school student was knocked down by a deer on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened as students were getting off the buses outside Rattlesnake Elementary School.
Missoula County Public Schools spokeswoman Hatton Littman says some students were near the buses and others were on the playground when the buck forcefully knocked the one student to the ground as it was trying to run away.
No specific information was released on the student's condition, but there's no indication the injuries were serious.
