MISSOULA — The Missoula Police Department confirms that a tree caught fire near the Reserve Street Bridge on Sunday night.
Missoula Police believe the fire was likely started intentionally and are calling the fire suspicious. The tree fire was about 100 to 150 yards east of the bridge.
It forced the northbound lanes of Reserve Street to be closed, and traffic was redirected to River Road.
Missoula Police confirmed to MTN News that they are looking for a suspect in connection with the fire.
