AMBER Alert canceled for Browning child

(UPDATE, 1:37 a.m.) The AMBER Alert for Addison Marceau has been cancelled.

The Montana Department of Justice says that Addison has been found and is safe.

No other details have been released. Blackfeet Tribal Police thanks you for your assistance.

The Montana Department of Justice has issued an AMBER Alert for three-year old Addison Marceau.

Addison has green eyes and brown hair, and was last seen in Browning at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday wearing a fluorescent orange shirt and fluorescent green leggings.

According to Blackfeet authorities, she was abducted from her guardian by her non-custodial mother, Zay-onna Marceau, who lost custody due to drug, alcohol, and child abuse.

The alert did not have any information about what mode of travel Zay-onna may be using.

The alert was issued at 11:35 p.m. on Saturday on behalf of Blackfeet Tribal Police, and sent to most carriers' wireless devices at 11:44 p.m.
