After 40 years in business, the Billings Mexican restaurant Dos Machos will close on March 31, according to a Facebook post from the restaurant.
"The remaining two owners, one who started the restaurant, are selling the building and land," the post reads.
The restaurant's management has also decided to retire after 30 years, according to the post.
The restaurant's 60 employees were notified of the upcoming closure last week. Some have worked there for more than 20 years.
Staff members said Wednesday they are blown away by all the community support.
"It's been home for a very long time. We've all shed a lot of tears. It's been great, the support of the community. Like I said, it's really touching to see how many people really care. So I'm really thankful for that," said general manager Sheri Daubert said, who been with the company for over 20 years.
The last day of operation for Dos Machos will be March 31.
"We appreciate all of our customers. The friendships we have developed mean more to us than we could ever express," read the post.
