The Helena Kennel Club hosted its annual dog show on Saturday, with pooches showing off at the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds.

Residents from far and wide, including our neighbor Canada, gathered to see these renowned pets present their best for their owners and handlers.

Siv Jendresen, who lives near Great Falls, was showing her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

This year, her two-year-old-pooch “Panda” won “Best of Opposite” for best female dog.

Jendresen spoke about her love for showing her dogs and how much she enjoys being a part of the show: "We like this building, we get to be inside...before, it used to be in the building over there, on dirt floor, and it was OK, but this building is very nice and Helena Club is really a nice club and they put on a good show, so, we like coming here every year.”

The show continues on Sunday.
