GREAT FALLS –  Governor Steve Bullock continued his push for Medicaid expansion during his State of the State address on Thursday.

Montana Department of Health and Human Services Director Sheila Hogan and several Great Falls health officials sat down Friday morning to talk about the importance of the program.

Nearly 95,000 Montanans have access to health care through Medicaid.

Hogan shared information about the agency’s new website, Montana Medicaid Expansion Dashboard, that offers information about the health benefits and local impacts of Medicaid expansion.

Dashboard offers a county-by-county breakdown of how local residents in each county have accessed various health services, including primary health care visits, cancer screenings, and diabetes diagnoses.
