2 people killed in crash with Busby school bus ID'd

The two people who were killed in a head-on crash with a Busby school bus Thursday morning were a father and daughter from Billings.

The accidemnt happened on Highway 212 between Ashland and Lame Deer.

Aubree Wallery, 28, was driving a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer, and her father Steven Wallery was in the passenger seat.

Montana Highway Patrol reported the Mitsubishi was heading east and negotiating a right curve when the small car crossed over the center line and crashed head-on into the Busby school bus heading west.

Both of the victims died at the scene.

Aubree Wallery was wearing her seat belt. Steven Wallery was not.

A 27-year-old male school bus monitor was inured and transported to the Lame Deer hospital.

The MHP reports the 43-year-old school bus driver and student on the bus were not injured, but were both taken to the Lame Deer hospital.

Speed was considered a possible factor, according to the highway patrol. Alcohol and drugs were not factors, according to MHP.
