BILLINGS- As firefighters from Montana return from California to help fight the devastating wildfires, Red Cross of Montana is sending volunteers.

There are currently four people deployed to California to help families impacted by the fires to provide mass care, shelter, transportation and mental health services.

The volunteers come from different parts of the state, including LewistownKalispell, Moccasin and Billings.

Red Cross of Montana representatives also say they have a staffer from Billings deployed to Saipan helping with recovery efforts following Typhoon Yutu.

About 70 Montana firefighters traveled to California to fight the blazes. All returned home Monday, according to Columbus Fire Chief Rich Cowger.
