BILLINGS – A single-car accident Friday night in Big Horn county left one person dead and two injured.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that at around 10:30 pm Friday, a car fleeing from the Bureau of Indian Affairs was going westbound on Highway 212, lost control and crashed.
A 17 -year-old male and a 21-year-old female, who were in the vehicle were not wearing a seatbelt and were ejected from the car. A 15-year-old girl was also in the vehicle.
The male died at the scene of the accident and the two females were transported to a hospital in Billings.
Alcohol and speed are considered factors.
