A 56-year-old woman from Hilger died after a rollover crash south of Roy.
The Montana Highway Patrol believes the crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday, but troopers were not dispatched until Tuesday just before 8 a.m.
The MHP said the victim failed to negotiate a lefthand curve on Black Butte Road and went off the road and rolled.
When troopers arrived on scene, they found the woman outside of her vehicle with no physical injuries.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine if the woman died from exposures such as hypothermia.
Drugs and alcohol are suspected factors in the crash, which is still under investigation.
The name of the woman has not yet been released. We will update you with any new information.
