BOZEMAN – The Montana Highway Patrol released their first public opinion survey this week.
With this survey, MHP hopes to better understand and tackle the concerns of Native Americans and local tourists.
The Patrol was able to get respondents through contact cards, press releases, local communities, and social media.
Some of the results are pretty promising:
- 92% said they were treated with respect.
- 82% trust the Montana highway patrol
- 86% Montana highway patrol is effective in enforcing the law.
- 78% rate Montana highways as very safe.
Something to note – 843 people responded to this survey.
