FBI investigation rules Brittany MadPlume’s death accidental

The FBI has concluded their investigation into Brittany MadPlume’s death.

According to the FBI, based on the evidence gathered, analyzed, and processed, they determined there was no violation of federal law.

An autopsy performed by the Montana Department of Justice Forensic Science Division determined MadPlume’s cause of death was acute ethanol intoxication, and the manner of death was an accident.

The FBI’s investigation began on January 12, according to a press release, after being notified of MadPlume’s death in Browning.

The FBI thanked Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services for their assistance and expressed their condolences to the MadPlume family.
