BILLINGS – A man was killed in a Billings West End motorcycle wreck on Thursday night.
The motorcycle crash occurred at the 3600 block of Grand Avenue, Billings police said in a tweet.
The crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. A passerby reported the crash and said they saw a person on the ground on the roundabout on 36th Street West. At first, the person thought it was a sleeping transient. They later saw the crashed motorcycle and reported it to police.
The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene.
Lt. Riley Finnegan said it was clear the man was not wearing a helmet. Finnegan said they found skid marks leading up to the roundabout.
The crash is under investigation.
