SHEPHERD – Two men were shot and injured in Shepherd early Monday morning.
Both men have been taken to the hospital, but their current condition hasn’t been released.
Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder said they are looking for a suspect.
Deputies were called to a home at 8208 Bea’s Lane shortly before 5 a.m. Monday where they found two men with gunshot wounds.
One man was taken to a hospital by ambulance and the other was taken by helicopter.
Linder said the investigation is still early and investigators are trying to figure out what lead to the shooting.
He believes at least one of the men was a resident of the home where the shooting occurred.
Linder added that other people at the scene are cooperating with the investigation.
