Alert issued for missing 25-year-old Lame Deer man

HELENA – The Montana Department of Justice has issued a statewide Missing and Endangered Person’s Alert (MEPA) for a 25-year-old Lame Deer man.

Evander Whitedirt is an American Indian male who is 5’7″ tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities said he was reported missing Wednesday, but was last seen July 15 near Lame Deer.

Evander has a mental health disability that causes him to function at the level of an 11-year-old child and possibly be combative.
