GREAT FALLS — An elderly man crossing a street in Great Falls on Friday died after being hit by a vehicle, the Great Falls Police Department confirmed to MTN News on Sunday.
It happened along Second Avenue North near 49th Street, in the vicinity of The Loft restaurant on the east side of town sometime after 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
The GFPD stated that it was not classified as a "hit and run," and that no one has been arrested or charged at this point.
The investigation by the GFPD is continuing and the name of the man who died has not yet been released.
