FRENCHTOWN — Frenchtown School District released this news release about buses.
Buses will be used to transport classroom assignments and homework being returned between home and school.
Parents will pick-up and drop-off students' work at their normal morning bus stops on Monday, March 23rd and Friday, March 27th. Curbside pick-up or drop-off will still be available at the elementary school for those parents who wish to come to the school to pick-up or drop-off student work. This is for those grade levels or classes where the teacher does not have an online presence.
Remember teachers will not be available to meet physically with students or parents during the shutdown, but most will be available online.
Call your building secretary for teacher availability. Use the library drop-box at the high school to return written homework for the middle school and high school.
Buses will run meal drop-off to all bus stops at normal morning time from March 23rd through March 27th.
If you would like a meal to be at your normal morning bus stop time on Monday, March 23rd.
Lunch and breakfast will be in each bag. Prices will be the same as when we are in school.
The district will need just the student's name when lunch is provided by the bus. Curbside pick-up will still run at the Elementary from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Extra Bus Stop – During the school shutdown, Frenchtown School District will add an additional bus stop past Whispering Pines. This is for the convenience of parents and students who travel to Whispering Pines to pick-up or drop-off their students when school is in session, FTSD #40 will have an additional bus stop for classroom assignments, homework, and meal distribution in the town of Arlee. The bus will stop at the south end of the Grocery Store parking lot about 8:00 am.
