A 27-year-old Lewistown man died in a rollover crash Wednesday morning near Brockway in McCone County.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports the man was driving a Kenworth commercial truck eastbound on Montana Highway 200.

The vehicle left the right side of the road at mile marker 262, and the driver over-corrected, causing the truck to roll, the patrol said.

The crash caused fatal injuries to the driver, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

MHP reports it’s unclear if a seatbelt was in use. The driver was the only person in the truck and no other vehicles were involved.

The roads were dry when the crash was reported at 10:54 a.m. Wednesday. MHP says that alcohol, drugs, and speed were not factors in the crash.

The man’s name has not yet been released.
