Montana reported no additional cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, May 23, 2020.

The state reports 795 new tests conducted for a total of 32,652.

The state's active case count is 22.

There have been 16 deaths in Montana to date. There have been six deaths in Toole County, two in Cascade County, two in Flathead County, two in Yellowstone County, and one each in Gallatin County, Lincoln County, Madison County, and Missoula County.

The state is reporting one case attributed to a Jefferson County resident.

Jefferson Co. health officials have reported that the case involved a man in his 50s who has not been in the state for several weeks. They added that the case was not acquired in Montana and the man has not been in contact with anyone in Montana.

The state's confirmed case count is 479, which includes the Jefferson Co. man.

The state count does not include 3 COVID-19 cases confirmed last week in Custer County; each of those cases is an out-of-state resident and therefore not included in the state's total. All three individuals currently remain in Montana under quarantine.
