The categories were most creative craft, most creative costume and the Cardboard Classic Race.

To wrap up the party, skiers gave onlookers a torchlight parade followed by a fireworks show.

During the parade, skiers holding lit bamboo torches cruised from the top of Grizzly Peak to the Limited ski run, then down Pine Ridge.

Following the parade fireworks lit up the night sky surrounding the Beartooth Mountains.

The Winter Carnival celebrates the tail end of the ski season up in Red Lodge. But judging by the eight feet of snow the mountain got in February, there's still some skiing left for March.

Red Lodge Mountain is celebrating 60 years of Montana skiing in the 2019-2020 season.
