GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Rescue Mission is looking or Christmas gifts to give to families in need this holiday season. They need gifts for more than 25 families, including about 60 children.

There’s a list of gift ideas on the organization's website, from gift cards to games.

The Rescue Mission requests that you wrap the gifts and bring them to the Cameron Family Center, but they’ll still take unwrapped donations. If you’d rather not drop them off in person, you can buy items on Amazon Smile and have them shipped directly to the center.

The shelter’s executive director, Jim McCormick, said despite the pandemic, the community has come out in droves to support those in need.

“I can’t imagine doing what I do in any other city in the country,” he said. “I’ve just seen the hearts of people in …. central Montana, and I just stand in awe.”

The final day to donate is December 16. To learn more and for the full list of recommended items, click here to visit the website.
