BOZEMAN — Montana State University has hit a near record high for enrollment this year.
More than 16,700 students are enrolled at MSU this fall, marking the second highest enrollment number in the university’s history.
Nearly 10,000 of those students are from Montana.
The university's graduation rate is at 29.7%, which is up from 19.6% in 2012.
MSU’s retention rat is also stronger at just under 80%.
