A large fireball erupted from the Exxon refinery in Baton Rouge late Tuesday night.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department was on the scene shortly after midnight. ExxonMobil Baton Rouge posted on Twitter its fire crew had the blaze contained to the area where it occurred.
Specific information about what happened has not been released as crews are dealing with the fire.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department is monitoring from outside and said as of 1 a.m. CT, there was no off-site impact.
WBRZ-TV reports there are no injuries.
