FLORENCE — Nearly a year has passed since the Florence Carlton School District announced plans for a renovation.
A lot of folks are wondering when they’ll start seeing changes made to the buildings on campus. To answer some of those questions, members of the community are invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday.
Everything from the classrooms, dining, band and choir spaces will receive major upgrades in hopes of creating a safer and healthier environment for students and staff.
Before construction can begin, design and teams are meeting to resolve issues such as increases in square footage, changes in building codes, soil stability, and rises in cost.
The facilities committee meeting will take place at 4 p.m. in the district office conference room.
