St. Peter’s Health is looking for local, young artists to help them say “thank you for wearing a mask” in a poster contest.

Pre-K - 12 students are encouraged to create a poster no larger than 11x17 inches with a message saying “thank you for wearing a mask.”

The three winners will receive a gift card to a local business and 100 copies of the poster will be printed and distributed around the community.

The grand prize winner will also have their poster displayed on a digital billboard.

St. Pete says this poster contest is to help raise awareness about the importance of wearing a mask during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We appreciate everybody in the community whose taking basic, everyday precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19,” says Katie Gallagher, Public Relations Specialist at St. Peter’s Health. “So, we know that as the months go by, that people are getting a bit tired of safety precautions but now it's more important than ever to take those basic everyday precautions."

Hard copies of the posters are due October 12th, 2020.
