A Utah Highway Patrol Trooper pulled a man to safety seconds before his car was slammed by a commuter train, and it was all captured on video.

In the video above this article, you can see Trooper Ruben Correa arriving on the scene and rescue a man who was about to be killed by an oncoming train.

“I observed there was a driver still in the vehicle unconscious I saw he was unconscious, so I opened his door, explain to him that we had to get out he wasn`t responding and I heard the horn from the train,” said Trooper Correa. "I looked to my left and observed that that train was coming pretty fast. Just before I knew that train hit that vehicle and we were able to make it out alive.”

From the video, you can see Correa made the rescue with only seconds to spare. Correa says he wasn’t thinking at the time – he was just doing his job.

His main concern was getting the man back to his family. Correa has since spoken to the driver and his family, who say they are beyond grateful for his help.
