Vaughn School will continue remote learning for 2 more weeks

Vaughn School will continue remote learning for the next two weeks with a tentative return to in-person learning on Monday, November 16.

Superintendent Jan Cahill did not provide a number of active cases in the school district in a phone conversation with MTN News on Sunday. The school initially moved to remote learning on October 13 after one person tested positive for COVID-19. The school was set to return to in-person learning on October 27.

All extracurricular and school-related activities are canceled until further notice.

As of Wednesday, the number of cases at Vaughn School was not listed on the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Service's weekly report of school-related coronavirus cases.

Vaughn School has more than 150 kids grades pre-kindergarten through eighth. The staff includes one administrator, 14 teachers, and 10 support staff.
