BONNER COUNTY, ID — Three people were taken to the hospital following a Tuesday evening crash in Idaho crash.

The Idaho State Patrol responded to the accident -- which happened on Highway 200 near the Montana state line in Bonner County -- just after 6 p.m.

A Honda Accord being driven by Rachel A. Dunn, 18, of Sandpoint, Idaho, was traveling westbound when she failed to negotiate a curve, lost control, over-corrected and crossed the center line striking a Toyota Prius driven by Lori S. Adams, 69, of Heron.

ISP reports Dunn was transported by air-ambulance to Kootenai Health in Couer d'Alene while Adams and her passenger, Edward L. Bernier, 83 -- also of Heron -- were transported by ground ambulance to Bonner General Hospital.

Dunn and Bernier were not wearing seatbelts while Adams was wearing a seatbelt. The crash blocked Highway 200 for approximately three hours.
