PHILIPSBURG — Another mountain in Western Montana is set to open to skiers and snowboarders this week - following Lookout Pass’s lead.
Discovery Ski Area near Philipsburg has its sights set on a Thanksgiving Day opening.
Staff wrote in a Monday social media post that there will be some changes to operations, such as new procedures meant to ensure the health and safety of both guests and staff.
A mask or face shield will be required in and around the lodge, in lift queues, and while loading or unloading the lift. Additionally, in all areas of the mountain, there will be a six-foot distancing guideline.
There are also now limited amenities at the lodge, including no indoor dining options. Click here for additional information about the changes at Discovery Ski Area.
