LIBBY — UPDATE 5:16 PM: Sean O'Brien has been found safe at his home in Troy. In a Facebook post the Lincoln County Sheriff's office wrote, "Many thanks to our awesome David Thompson Search and Rescue volunteers who worked all through last night and today on this case."

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in locating a man who has been reported missing.

Sean O’Brien, 53, was last seen on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Town Pump in Eureka at approximately 4 p.m. Authorities report that O’Brien, who has medical issues, was believed to be driving from Eureka to his home in Troy.

O’Brien is described as a white male with a scruffy gray beard and shoulder-length silver hair. He wears glasses. He was last seen wearing camo hat, pants, a neck warmer, boots, a camo jacket, gray flannel, a brown Carhart vest and orange.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office notes he is not hunting. O’Brien has a small brown and white dog with one eye that goes by the name of “Benny”.

Anyone with information about O’Brien’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 293-4112. David Thompson Search and Rescue and law enforcement are actively searching for O’Brien, according to a social media post.
