Christmas celebration returning to Nine Mile Schoolhouse

NINE MILE — Christmas at the Nine Mile Schoolhouse kicks of on Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. where children will be able to decorate cookies, write a letter to Santa, and sit on his lap.

Adults can also experience some Christmas spirits as in a beer-tasting opportunities, bonfire, carolers, and craft vendors.

Owner Jessie Crowley is grateful for the help and support of her neighbors and friends and welcomes all who want to enjoy the event.

“My favorite part is bringing everyone together," said Crowley. "We have neighbors that just come over and help and want to be a part of it and I think that’s the most magical thing.”

A raffle will help benefit the Montana Down Syndrome Association and one of the six items is the chance to have a murder mystery party on schoolhouse grounds.

Tickets for children under 12 and older than a baby are $20 and adults are free.
