ROUNDUP — A 21-year-old man from Plains was killed in a rollover crash Wednesday southwest of Roundup just before 8 p.m.
Montana Highway Patrol dispatch said the man, whose name has not been released, was driving a Chevrolet 4500 pickup truck east on U.S. Highway 12.
The truck left the road on the right side and when the driver tried to correct the vehicle, he lost control. The truck then went off the left side of the road and overturned.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 28-year-old passenger from Royalton, MN, who also wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was injured and taken to Billings Clinic.
MHP reports no other vehicles were involved, and alcohol, drugs and speed are not suspected factors in the crash.
