SUPERIOR — The Superior and St. Regis fire departments responded to a structure fire Saturday night in a blinding snowstorm.

Superior Fire Chief Steve Temple says when they arrived at 80 River Ranch Road, they found multiple fires, including a fully engulfed mobile home on fire.

Temple says 12 firefighters, four water tenders, and two structure trucks battled the multiple fires that included five vehicles in a snow storm.

Temple says they are investigating the fires as human-caused, with the Mineral County Sheriff leading the investigation.

No one was home at the time of the fires and no injuries were reported. Temple says it took firefighters four hours to put out the multiple fires.
