WHITEFISH — On Saturday night, the beach was packed with people watching Fourth of July fireworks. By Sunday morning, it was filled with trash left behind by the crowds.
The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce and Whitefish Park and Recreation organized the cleanup event, which kicked off Sunday morning at 7 a.m.
Whitefish City Beach now looks just as it did before the celebration, clean, open, and ready for whoever comes next.
