MISSOULA — It's the start of a new tradition in Missoula.
For the first time, KPAX welcomed almost 20 breast cancer warriors to Pink Breakfast at the Butterfly House and Insectarium for a morning of celebration, tears and resilience.
KPAX met some of the people whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer to learn how the battle can be better fought together.
Sponsored by Advanced Imaging, the breakfast was broadcast in parts of the state - educating all on resources and support groups available to women, like Chicks n Chaps. The group is a Missoula-founded, nonprofit resource, whose national board members talked to MTN about financial relief they can provide.
Vicki Olson with Silver Lining Foundation told MTN about her journey with breast cancer and life after the fight while Harper Harryman, Miss Montana's Teen, shared an encouraging message to anyone going through a cancer hardship.
