MISSOULA — The Missoula City-County Health Department says it received a directive from Gov. Bullock to create guidelines for businesses that plan to reopen.
Officials say businesses should plan to keep employees and customers safe, whether that's wearing masks, staggering schedules, or marking floors.
Missoula officials are encouraging limiting social interactions as much as possible.
"While we would love for everybody to be able to just totally go back to normal, if we go back to our normal practices prior to this pandemic, we are going to see a huge spike in cases that is going to overload our healthcare system," said Cindy Farr, Missoula City-County Health Department Incident Commander.
Farr said the health department is working Wednesday and Thursday to outline guidelines for businesses, and will get them out as soon as possible..
