MISSOULA — The Montana Grizzlies are coming off a big road win where they took down the former No. 4 team, UC Davis, on the road.

The Griz now return home to Washington-Grizzly Stadium for their week six homecoming game. Montana will be taking on a Idaho State team that has impressed early in 2019.

Last year they finished 5-3 in the conference, but opened this season with a big win over Portland State. The Bengals bring yet another veteran offense to the equation, which seems to be the norm for the Griz opponents in 2019.

Headed into the rest of the week, Montana head coach Bobby Hauck knows the Bengals aren't a team to take lightly.

"I think they are extremely well coached they've done an amazing job historically. Historically it's been a place where it's been a little up and down and these guys have done a really good job coaching there. They play hard, they are sound, their scheme is excellent. They are a handful to prepare for," said Hauck.

The Montana defense also knows they have another veteran quarterback to stop, but they're welcoming the challenge.

"I always think the challenge is fun coming into every week with a new game plan and just seeing what it is and what we have to do to execute that. It's always a fun thing and I think everybody excepts the challenge every week and it's always fun on Saturdays," said linebacker Jace Lewis.
