MISSOULA — One of the Missoula men charged in connection to a 2018 double homicide is requesting a change of venue.
Jonathan Whitworth is accused of shooting and killing two people in an apparent drug deal at the Mountain Valley Inn in October of 2018.
His defense attorney says news coverage of the incident was biased and presumed Whitworth guilty.
The defense is asking for a change of venue, or for the jury to be selected from a different county.
The judge assigned to this case has not made a decision on the motion.
Whitworth's trial is scheduled for this April.
