New record highs set in Western Montana

MISSOULA — It felt a lot more like early Fall than it did Winter!

Did it feel warmer than it has in a while to you today?

Well we actually broke RECORDS in Missoula and Kalispell.

Both cities had highs that were the WARMEST on record!

According to the National Weather Service:

Missoula's high today was 54 degrees breaking the old record of 49 set in 1933.
Kalispell’s high today was 51 breaking the old record of 50 set in 1990.

We continue tracking warmer than average temperatures through the weekend.
We finally dive back down to the low 30s as highs by Christmas Day, which is much closer to average than these 40s and 50s we have experienced this week!
