A little light snow will be possible for central Idaho and northwest Montana early on Thanksgiving. Generally, though, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies areawide with highs in the upper 30s.
A ridge of high pressure will build just to our west and be the main weather player for the extended forecast.
Friday will showcase ample sunshine after patchy morning fog with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.
A weak disturbance Saturday could pop an isolated snow shower or two for mainly northwest Montana with everyone seeing partly cloudy skies otherwise and highs in the low 40s.
As high pressure remains in the region, we’ll see strengthening valley inversions with gradually degrading air quality by mid to late week. Stratus and fog are possible which could reduce visibility at times.
